Empowering Livelihood Through Solar Energy
The “Empowering Livelihoods with Solar Energy” project aims to promote sustainable livelihoods and reduce energy poverty in rural communities of Meghalaya. The project focuses on harnessing solar energy to empower local communities, particularly in areas with limited access to electricity. By promoting the use of solar energy, the project seeks to improve the quality of life, enhance economic opportunities, and reduce dependence on fossil fuels. This initiative is implemented by Grassroot in collaboration with the Selco Foundation.
